Meet Katrina King and her wonderful children, all eight of them!
Katrina grew up right here in Northwest Arkansas in Rogers. She and her husband Brian married in 2004 and started their family together.
Sadly, Brian passed away suddenly and unexpectedly a little over a year ago on October 22, 2022 from a heart attack + stroke. This left Katrina alone to be both caretaker and provider for all eight of their children in the blink of an eye.
While they have found ways to make ends meet it has been a struggle since Brian passed. The family had a rough time finding a sustainable living situation over the summer and were homeless for a period of time at the start of the school year, having to split up to stay temporarily with different friends who were kind enough to pitch in during their time of need.
Thankfully they’ve found a tenable housing option recently in Rogers, but times are tough for the King family and Katrina as she navigates being a single Mom of eight.
She recently started a laundry service to help provide for her family but also maintain flexibility to be readily available for her children, as some of them often need special care or attention throughout the day. If you’d like to support her new business as a customer you can learn more about her services by contacting her here for more information.
